We didn't set out to build Yloveme.
We set out to build Love Quest — a relationship game with guided quests, couple rewards, and connection streaks. It sounded fun. A game. A challenge. We tested it with real couples, and kept hearing the same thing back:
"This is great, but it doesn't answer the real question."
We knew exactly what they meant. Because the hardest question either of us has ever been asked in a relationship wasn't about logistics, date nights, or who does the dishes. It was:
"Why do you love me?"
We didn't have an answer. Not a real one — not even one that still felt true the next morning, or the next year. So we stopped building a quest, and started building an answer.
Love Quest became Yloveme.
Not because of a cooler name — because the product needed a truer purpose. Yloveme is about the slow work of figuring out why, together, even when it's awkward, even when you don't have the words yet.
